Current Open Positions
1. Chapter Webmaster
- Role: Manage and maintain the chapter’s website, ensuring content is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging.
- Responsibilities:
- Update event calendars and news posts
- Maintain member and contact pages
- Ensure the website is user-friendly and functional
- Coordinate with the board for content and updates
- Skills Needed: Familiarity with website platforms (WordPress), basic design/layout skills, attention to detail
2. Chapter Social Media Coordinator
- Role: Manage the chapter’s social media accounts to engage members and promote conservation efforts.
- Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule posts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter)
- Highlight events, volunteer opportunities, and conservation projects
- Respond to comments/messages and engage with the community
- Coordinate with the board and webmaster for consistent messaging
- Skills Needed: Social media experience, writing and visual content skills, creativity, and engagement strategies
