Current Open Positions

1. Chapter Webmaster

• Role: Manage and maintain the chapter’s website, ensuring content is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging.
• Responsibilities:
  • Update event calendars and news posts
  • Maintain member and contact pages
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly and functional
  • Coordinate with the board for content and updates
• Skills Needed: Familiarity with website platforms (WordPress), basic design/layout skills, attention to detail

2. Chapter Social Media Coordinator

• Role: Manage the chapter’s social media accounts to engage members and promote conservation efforts.
• Responsibilities:
  • Create and schedule posts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter)
  • Highlight events, volunteer opportunities, and conservation projects
  • Respond to comments/messages and engage with the community
  • Coordinate with the board and webmaster for consistent messaging
• Skills Needed: Social media experience, writing and visual content skills, creativity, and engagement strategies
